Activities and Trips

Evening Activities

Ghostlight is known for our innovative, organized evening activities. These activities are usually team-oriented, featuring plenty of opportunities to perform, challenge yourself, and just be plain silly.

Some favorites include the Game Show, Murder Mystery Night, Dancing With the Stars, Arts & Crafts, and of course — Campfires!

Through these activities, campers continue to learn how to communicate, problem-solve, and work as a team towards a common goal.

Our performing arts summer camp also hosts talent shows, dances, and movie and podcast nights. Campers may also enjoy a trip into town on some evenings for some local Ice Cream, roller skating, or bowling!

Trip Days

Located in Warwick, NY, Ghostlight Theater Camp is in Orange County near the border of New York and New Jersey. In addition to being only 90 minutes from New York City, Ghostlight is near the Hudson Valley and Catskills regions. At Ghostlight, campers can take advantage of swimming pools, nature trails, pickleball courts, and the lake, but we also enjoy taking trips off camp to enjoy the exciting locations in the area.

Each session includes a trip day away from camp to a fantastic site in the state of New York. Nearby destinations include Bearfort Mountain, Och’s Orchard, Storm King Art Center, and theater productions like the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, New York Stage and Film, and the Forestburgh Playhouse.
