Welcome to Camp
Dear friends,
Welcome to Ghostlight's 24th summer! At camp we have the Daily Call, a nightly update sent via our group Slack channel with the next day's schedule and important announcements. Before camp, we will be sending you Weekly Calls every week or two containing important information and resources for you to use before we all arrive at camp. This message includes information about staff forms, American Camp Association membership, and referring new campers! Over the next couple months, you'll receive information about pre-camp training, Slack, packing lists, and more. We'll also share more details about (and photos of!) our new campus at Mountain Lake Park in Warwick, NY.

📋 Staff Forms
Your staff forms are available on the Staff Dashboard. These include health forms, travel confirmations, background check information, and more. Some forms can be filled out online, others require uploading a document, and others include links to follow. While due dates are varied for forms (mostly end of May/early June), our recommendation is to complete them as soon as possible.

🏕️ American Camp Association
Ghostlight Theater Camp is a proud American Camp Association member. Through the ACA, we are accountable for 260 standards of operation. These standards cover everything at camp, from administration to programming. We review these standards each year and check our policies and procedures to ensure we are the best camp we can be.
The American Camp Association also offers resources and events for summer camps and summer camp staff. You can join as an ACA member and get a free year of membership here by using the code ACAFREE at checkout.
📣 Refer a Camper
Word of mouth is one of the best ways for new families to learn about Ghostlight. If you know a theater kid who would love Ghostlight, they can fill out a Request for Information online or you can send us their information so we can reach out. If you're interested in brochures or posters to share, you can reply to this email and we'll send some your way! As a thank you for bringing a new camper to Ghostlight this summer, you'll receive an additional $150 stipend.
Please note that we currently have the best availability in Session 1, particularly within our tiered pricing spaces.
