Transportation and Camp Forms

Dear families,

March is here, we're approaching the 100-day mark until Summer 2026 at Ghostlight begins, and we can't wait for an incredible summer with All camper first names

See below for important information on transportation to camp and camper forms. As summer approaches, please continue to let us know what questions you have. We love hearing from you and All camper first names and are always available to chat. We'll also be announcing some more shows in the next few weeks to join Something Rotten, Matilda, Chicago, Nancy Drew, Metamorphoses, The 39 Steps, and Honk, Jr.! in our summer season.

Alexa, Chris, Monica, Spencer, and Zack

✈️ Transportation to Camp

Thank you for completing the survey to assist us in finalizing transportation options for this summer. Based on family interest:

  • For both Session 1 and Session 2, we will offer shuttles from Newark Liberty International Airport.
  • For Session 1, there will be a van beginning in Portland, ME and stopping in Worcester, MA before continuing to camp. Please note that space is limited. Please visit the Family Dashboard and complete the travel confirmation form as soon as possible to reserve a space for your camper.
  • Any Session 2 families who expressed interest in group transportation can respond to this email if interested in a carpool option. We will work to connect you with a local family who is happy to coordinate travel to camp.

All families will indicate travel plans when completing forms. Campers flying independently into Newark Liberty International Airport will have a chaperone meet them at the gate when they arrive. Time slots for campers arriving by car will be scheduled prior to arrival day.

If your camper is flying to camp, we recommend using ShipCamps. Learn more here.

📋 Camper Information Forms

Forms are now available in your Family Dashboard. Forms include health information*, transportation confirmations, cabin preferences, core class** selection, and camper t-shirt size. To access the forms:

  • Log in here: https://ghostlight.campmanagement.com/campers
  • If you don't remember your password from registration, click the "What's My Password" button to reset it.
  • Click the "Forms" tab.
  • Click your camper's name.
  • All forms are due by May 10th.

Health Forms: Please pay particular attention to the Physician's Form (Licensed Provider Recommendations and Medication Orders). This form grants permission for our Health Center to administer over-the-counter medication as needed over the summer. Additionally, your camper’s physician must document any prescription or over-the-counter medications your camper takes, including inhalers, EpiPens, and vitamins. Our nurses cannot administer any medication without this order from your camper’s physician.

For families registered with CampMeds, a physician's order must also be supplied to CampMeds directly for medication to be supplied; this includes over-the-counter medications and vitamins.

** What is a core class? Three-week and six-week campers take core classes at Ghostlight and can choose between Acting, Dance, Voice, and Playwriting. This class meets six times with the same group of campers and the same teacher. Campers staying the full summer will have a chance during first session to choose their core class for second session.

💊 Medication at Camp

Please be sure to view the information about CampMeds, the required* service we use at Ghostlight to deliver medication in the safest and most efficient way. Please note that there are enrollment deadlines for CampMeds with corresponding fees. We recommend beginning the registration process as soon as possible and completing by May 15. The CampMeds fee goes directly to CampMeds to cover packaging and shipping medications; if the CampMeds fee presents a barrier for your family, please reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss how we can assist. A doctor's order is not required at the time of registration but must be submitted 30 days prior to the start of camp. A doctor's order must be submitted to CampMeds for all medication, including OTC medications and vitamins.

*There are a small number of exceptions to this requirement; please review the linked PDF for details.
