Welcome, Transportation, and Medication

Dear Greeting,

Welcome to Ghostlight 2026! We are thrilled that All camper first names will be joining us for a summer full of joy, creativity, gratitude, and community. Over the next few months, you will receive emails with important information about the upcoming summer. The subject line will always begin with Preparing for Ghostlight 2026.

This message contains important information about transportation (including a brief survey) and medication at camp.

You can always reach out any member of our team with additional questions about Ghostlight and about how we can make this summer an incredible experience for All camper first names

All the best,

Alexa, Chris, Monica, Spencer, and Zack

πŸš™  Transportation

We ask that all families fill out this brief transportation survey as we seek to finalize options organized by Ghostlight for this summer. This survey will ask about whether you plan to drive your camper, plan to fly, or are interested in a group transportation option for Arrival Days. Please complete this two-minute survey by 2/17, even if you are not certain about your plans. We will then be in touch about offerings for this summer. If you have any questions, please let us know.

πŸ’Š Medication At Camp

Using a medication delivery service is the safest and most efficient way for Ghostlight's Health Center to deliver camper medications. Ghostlight uses CampMeds as a required* service for campers who take prescription medication (daily or as needed) or daily over-the-counter medications. For complete CampMeds information, please refer to the attached PDF or contact Alexa at alexa@ghostlighttheatercamp.com. Please note that there are enrollment deadlines for CampMeds with corresponding fees. We recommend beginning the registration process as soon as possible and completing by March 1. Prescriptions are not required at the time of registration but must be submitted 30 days prior to the start of camp. This fee goes directly to CampMeds to cover packaging and shipping medication. If your camper takes medication and the CampMeds fee presents a barrier for your family, please reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss how we can assist.

*There are a small number of exceptions to this requirement; please review the attached PDF for details.

Please note that, due to New York State requirements, all campers' medication (prescription or non-prescription) must be accompanied by a patient-specific written order from a licensed provider. For campers registering for CampMeds, this order will be submitted through their portal. More details on submitting a physician's order for CampMeds exceptions will be available March 1. For 2026, all families will be required to submit their child's most recent medical examination form and an authorization for over-the-counter medication available at camp. These forms will also be available March 1.
