Directions to Our Summer Camp for Kids
Ghostlight Theater Camp is a three-hour drive north from Boston, MA and 1.5-hour drive from Portland, ME.
If you are driving from the south:
Follow Interstate 95 North to Exit 127 to Waterville/Oakland. (In Maine I-95 becomes the Maine Turnpike, which turns into I-95 again just south of camp.) At the end of the exit, take a left onto Route 137 towards Oakland.
Follow Route 137, staying to the right of the Mobil gas station at the fork in Oakland. Camp Eastwood is about six miles from the highway. Just before the D & L Country Store, make a right onto East Pond road. Ghostlight Theater Camp is on your left.
If you are driving from the north:
Follow Interstate 95 South to Exit 127 to Waterville/Oakland. At the end of the exit, take a right onto Route 137 and proceed as stated previously.
If you have any trouble finding our summer camp for acting, be sure to give us a call.
Family members are welcome to visit for performance festivals, which are held at the end of each session. If you’re coming to see us, we’ve provided a list of enjoyable, comfortable lodging in central Maine near our camp. These places book quickly during the summer, so we encourage you to make your reservations early.
Our performance festivals are a great way for you to see what your child has been doing at our summer camp for acting. During the festivals, you get to watch some of the performances they have been working on. This is a fantastic way for parents to show support for their children. It is also a great confidence booster for children. Performing in front of an audience allows them to work through any nerves they may have and learn how to cope with stressful situations. At our summer theater camp for kids, your child will experience the joys of performing, but they also learn life lessons.
