What families and audiences experience when they see a show at camp is a reflection of these principles. Whether it is a new work or a familiar musical, shows at camp offer refreshing ways of seeing theater and the world at large. We look for material that provides a community message and the opportunity to make theater in unconventional ways that instill teamwork, collaboration, and empathy in each camper. Not only do we hear that it is inspiring to see stories old and new in original, collaborative productions, but we know the experience of making and experiencing ensemble-driven theater is a catalyst for change and growth back home as well.
